We are now officially a family of 5.

We are now officially a family of 5!!! We had to get up early this morning and get to breakfast by 7:30 am.
Our bus left at 8:30 to head for the same building we were at to pick the kids up the day before. The guides did a good job explaining to the kids we were just going to do paperwork and then go back to the hotel with their families. We found out on the way that Max gets motion sickness. We sat in the back of the bus and he got very sick to his stomach. It took about 30 min and he was feeling better. We found out Max loves to take pictures. I gave him my camera and he was taking lots of pictures of everyone. Kim and Kasey were making funny faces and making him laugh while he took pictures of them. He would take the pictures of the officials as we went in to do paperwork. One picture was never enough so we have several pics of people we don’t know. He was having fun. When we got back on the bus we went to a shopping mall. It was about 10 stories tall. Max started feeling sick right when the bus started to move. We were at the mall about an hour, we spent most of time outside on a bench waiting to leave. Max fell asleep on Daves lap. As soon as we got back to the hotel Max got a big smile on his face. We went back to the room and had a little lunch. We then went outside of the hotel to the gardens. The waterfalls are beautiful and the ponds are full of Koi fish. Max definitely is not afraid of water or fish. He is so silly. He loves to pose for pics. We are really getting to know his personality and he will fit in perfectly. He has made us laugh so much. When we got back to the room he wanted to take a bath. The tub is a big garden tub and he can fill it up pretty deep. He had lots of fun splashing and swimming in the tub. I bet it will be a daily activity. Today was about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday and windy. I don’t think we will be swimming this trip. We went and looked at the pool and Max got really excited. He was talking a mile a minute to one of the hotel staff. Dave just took Max down to the Robertson’s room to show him what a nerf gun is all about. They brought a couple. Again I can’t believe how good everything is going. We have had to correct him a few times. He seems to take it well. Well better go for now.

  1. I'm missing our daily phone calls but this blog and the skype is the next best thing. I love reading about your adventures and Jack will be happy to hear Max is a fan of the legos and Nerf guns. We have lots here for him to play with. The pictures are terrific. Keep up the great work blogging.
